Awards
Matt Electric, one of Australia's leading electrical contracting businesses, was named national Master Electrician of the Year for 2010 at the Electrical & Communications Association's (ECA) Annual Excellence Awards Dinner on Friday, 5 November 2010.
The highly contended awards, judged by a panel of industry leaders, were created to honour individuals and businesses for outstanding achievement in the electro technology industry. The prize was awarded to Matt Electric for commitment to client service above and beyond what is expected of a Master Electrician.
Managing Director of Matt Electric, Matt Hanley said:
“Our vision, mission and values play an important role in defining Matt Electric as a company. They are the guiding principles that drive the company’s performance. Our Vision is achieved by designing and implementing business systems that reflect honesty, integrity, professionalism, structure and safety. It is extremely gratifying to have our business systems acknowledged in this capacity”.
“When I first started Matt Electric, I recognised the need to improve service levels offered to clients. A lot of trades have the reputation of not turning up on time and charging exorbitant prices, the electrical sector is no different. I started Matt Electric because I knew I could deliver a higher level of professionalism to the industry. Any electrician can fix or install a new electrical system, however, it is our commitment to service which sets us apart from other electrical contractors and has given us the framework to win national projects”.
Matt Electric now operates across all states of Australia and our projects range from smaller BER School Upgrade projects right through to major retail, health and hospitality contracts, showing the depth of skill and diversity Matt Electric has to offer.
