Matt Electric's commitment to Victorian bushfire victims

For Immediate Use: 17th February, 2009Matt Electric Pty Ltd's commitment to Victorian bushfire victims

Matt Electric Pty Ltd announced today they will be donating $1 from every service hour in Melbourne to the
Red Cross’s 2009 Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund to support communities impacted by the devastating
bushfires. Their expected donation could exceed $30,000.

In addition Matt Electric will initiate discussions immediately with the SES, Red Cross and Housing Victoria, to
provide in-kind support of technical & construction services to assist with rebuilding some of the devasted
communities.

Matt Hanley – Managing Director of Matt Electric said today, “This tragedy has affected so many lives and the
Matt Electric team want to do all they can to help. We will be contacting the appropriate departments who will
be coordinating the recovery effort and register our offer to assist as soon as requirements have been
defined. It is impossible to understand what the victims of these bushfires have endured over the last few
days, rest assured we will do our part to assist. Our prayers are with the victims, their families & all of the
CFA volunteers that risk their lives”.
